Generalfeldmarshal (FM)
A Generalfeldmarshal is a leader of the Stürmtruppen and holds the highest rank within the force. The main role of the Generalfeldmarshal is to make the community feel safe and to ensure that every member is happy.
There can only be four Generalfeldmarshals at a time, and all have the power to demote or promote any member within a battalion.
To promote someone to the rank of Generalfeldmarshal, they must make a thread in the promotions area and ensure that the Company commander lets the soldier know.
Generalleutnant (GEN)
A Generalleutnant is in charge of watching over a Army and oversees that the welfare of the army is in good condition, a Generalleutnant is a experienced soldier who can pass on guidance and shows every member respect.
A Generalleutnant has the ability to promote or demote any member within a battalion
-Will assist the Oberst within a battalion
-Helps with running activities in the army
-Will be able to provide information and advice on successfully running a Battalion or Battalions.
Generalmajor (BG)
A Generalmajor is a understudy to the Generalleutnant whom is watching over a Army success of the Battalion
A Generalmajor has the ability to promote or demote anyone of the rank Oberst and below.
-Will Assist Generalleutnant with their duties
-Helps with running activities within the Army
-Will be able to provide information and advice on successfully running a Battalion or Battalions.
Oberst (COL)
A Oberst is identified by the color of their name on the site; and is in command of a Battalion within a Army. Having achieved the rank of Oberst, a Oberst will have numerous responsibilities within the Battalion to fulfill. Overseeing a Battalion, typically housing 2-4 companies of 30-70 members. A Oberst is eligible for promotion after 2 months, or after a Army splits. However, a promotion is not guaranteed.
-Obersts must make sure that all Recruits are registered on the website and have joined the Battalion
-Hosts daily/weekly game nights.
-Updates Battalion List, a list of members, weekly.
-Ensures that Hauptmanns keep their Companies successful and improving.
-A Oberst has the power to promote/demote the ranks of Hauptmann and below.
Major (MAJ)
Major's are the right hand man/woman to the Oberst. They assist the Oberst in day to day operations.
When the Oberst isn’t present or takes a leave of absence, a Major will temporarily take over their role.
-Hosts daily/weekly game nights.
-Is educated on running a Battalion by the Oberst
-Ensures that Hauptmanns keep their Companies successful and improving.
-After a member has served longer than 1 month in the rank structure or longer and depending on the situation, may a Major be promoted.
Hauptmann (CPT)
A Hauptmann is in charge of a Company within a Battalion. A Company roster is typically 15 members, not including recruits.
-Hautpmanns insure the well being of their company members.
-Must make sure that all Company members know how to find stuff on the site and assist where needed.
-Hautpmanns host daily/weekly game nights with their company.
-Makes sure everyone within the Company is aware and understands the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules
-Assists the Oberst of the Battalion with day to day operations within the Battalion.
-A Hauptmann has the power to promote or demote anybody within their own company.
Leutnant (Lt)
Leutnant is the first leadership/officer position in Stürmtruppen.
-Lt's assist Hautpmanns in running companies and therefore have authority over the company.
-Must make sure that all Company members know how to find stuff on the site and assist where needed.
-Lt's help host daily/weekly game nights with their company.
-Makes sure everyone within the Company is aware and understands the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules
-A Lt has the power to promote a Recruit to Private after the Recruit has served 3-5 days.
-There may be only one (1) Leutnant at any given time in a given Company.
Feldwebel (Sgt)
A Feldwebel helps the Lt and CPT with day to day activities within the Battalion.
-A Feldwebel is an experienced member who has a complete understanding of the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules
-A Feldwebel sets a good example for their members and attend Battalion events regularly.
-A Feldwebel can assist the Lt and CPT with keeping track of member activity and reporting it as necessary.
-There may be a total of four Feldwebels in a Company.
Gefreiter (Gef)
As a Gefreiter, members will have to carefully familiarize themselves with the elements of the ranking structure, rules, regulations, and honor code.
-Once a Gefreiter has actively trained Specialists and familiarized themselves with the overall structure, then they may be looked at for a promotion to Feldwebel.
-A Gefreiter may be looked at for promotion after a total of a week within the rank structure.
Obersoldat
Obersoldat are the introductory rank for new members. Obersoldats will actively help Soldat's and Rekruts to familiarize them with the forums and rules.
-Obersoldat will know the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules so that it may be taught to the newer members.
-A Obersoldat can be looked at for promotion to Gefreiter after a week.
Soldat
The first real rank in the Rank Structure. After getting to understand the Rank Structure as a Reckrut for about three-five days, a Rekrut is promoted to Soldat
-Soldats are required to learn and respect the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules
-They will also participate in the majority of the Company/Battalion events.
After a week of staying active, a Soldat is promoted to Obersoldat. A Hauptmann may promote a Soldat prior to one week depending on how active the member is.
Rekrut
A Rekrut is a member who has just joined a Battalion. A rekrut will be promoted to PVT within 3-5 days depending on forums activity and gaming activity.
-A Rekrut must register on the website.
-Needs to join a Battalion.
-Must read and understand the Honour Code, Rank Structure and Forum Rules
-Must participate in game nights and meetings.
